As pointed out by Michael (thanks for the heads-up) things have changed on the Vodafone NZ web site, and you can no longer get the best data plan, you know the one at $250 a month or $6000 and only 1GB data a month.

There is a suggestion that the iPhone will only be on account here in New Zealand.
First I was disappointed in that, but with the pricing that the phone will come in at $199NZD on a two year term, this isn’t going to be a bad thing.

Price announced – Brilliant – where’s the plan

Just in my inBox there’s the announcement from Vodafone that the iPhone will be $199NZD on a 2 year contract. That is stunning and I can live with that, the only problem is what is the contract and how much will it be? That’s not yet been announced.
